- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the Internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. NAVSEA Indian Head Division has a requirement for 15,000 Geometrically Scaled Series II Sleeves, 15,000 Geometrically Scaled Series II Sub Penetrators, and 15,000 Aft Fin and Forward Fin Bodies in accordance with the Government drawing package. The anticipated delivery schedule for all three items is: 1st delivery of 5,000 each due by 30 May 2006, 2nd delivery of 5,000 each due by 30 June 2006, and the 3rd delivery of 5,000 each due by 30 July 2006. The method of Source Selection will be based on a best value decision considering factors such as: Management & Quality Assurance, Technical Comprehension, Facilities & Equipment, Past Performance and Price. The solicitation will have provisions for multiple awards. Therefore, companies will be permitted to propose on one, two or three of the items. Companies are not required to produce all items listed in the solicitation. The requirement is set aside 100% for Small Businesses. The NAICS Code is 332995, Size Standard is 500 employees and FSC Code is 1340. To register for this solicitation, you must e-mail the following directly to Georgia Warder at Georgia.Warder@navy.mil: Solicitation number N00174-06-R-0016 in the subject line of the of your e-mail; name of requestor; organization name, address, telephone number, fax number, and e-mail address. Use your e-mail ?read notification? to confirm the contract specialist?s receipt of your registration. The Government is not responsible for any undelivered e-mail transmissions. It is the requestor?s responsibility to periodically check the IH DIV Contracts Division website for current status of solicitation and amendments. Once the solicitation has been issued on the Internet, the contract specialist will send an e-mail to the registered requestors informing them that the solicitation is now available for downloading off the Internet. Copies of issued solicitations can only be obtained by downloading them from the IHDIV Contracts Division website at http://www.ih.navy.mil/contracts (Copies of solicitation will not be e-mailed, faxed, mailed or provided in person. These types of requests WILL NOT BE ACKNOWLEDGED.) Note: All offerors will be ineligible for award unless they have registered in DOD?s Central Contractor Registration database. Offerors and contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via Internet at http://www.ccr.gov/.
