- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity, 820 Chandler Street, Fort Detrick, Maryland, intends to award a sole source contract with Thermo Electron Corporation. The contract is for software, specifically identifed as 8800PC WinCardID Software, Part Number 28771. Due to this products unique characteristics, it is believed that it is in the governments best interest to contract with Thermo Electron Corporation. The place for delivery of the product is the U. S. Army Garrison, 1422 Sultan Drive , Fort Detrick, Maryland. If another company can provide this product, responses received from responsible businesses prior to close of business on March 30, 2006 will be considered.
