- Description
- The United States Army Corps of Engineers intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract for construction services for the construction of two mitigation chutes on the Missouri River in Holt County, Missouri. Both land based excavation and dredging wi ll be allowed. The Rush Bottom Chute includes the construction of a single chute which will connect the Missouri River with a historic chute. This chute is approximately 8526 feet in length. Two grade control structures are to be constructed along the c hute. The Tarkio River Chutes include the widening of the mouth of the Tarkio River at the Missouri River and construction of a pilot chute and a secondary chute from the pilot chute which will connect the Tarkio River to the Missouri River. The pilot ch ute is approximately 2063 feet in length, while the secondary is approximately 1483 feet in length. The mouth widening section is approximately 1045 feet in length. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 237990 (All Other Heavy Construction) and the Standard Industrial Code (SIC) is 1629. The Small Business size standard is $28.5 Million. This solicitation is unrestricted . Bids will be accepted from all interested responsible and responsive parties. The mandatory date of completion is 400 days after Notice to Proceed. Solicitation W912DQ-06-B-0002 will be available on or about 05 April 2006. Proposals will be due on or ab out 08 May 2006.
