- THIS SOLICITATION IS OPEN TO ALL FIRMS AUTHORIZED TO PERFORM WITHIN JAPAN THE TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION WORK SPECIFIED IN THIS SOLICITATION. SPECIFICALLY, AN OFFEROR MUST BE DULY AUTHORIZED TO OPERATE AND DO BUSINESS IN JAPAN AND MUST FULLY COMPLY WITH A LL LAWS, DECREES, LABOR STANDARDS, AND REGULATIONS OF JAPAN DURING PERFORMANCE OF THE CONTRACT. IN ADDITION, PRIOR TO AWARD OF THE CONTRACT, OFFERORS MUST BE REGISTRED WITH THE GOVERNMENT OF JAPAN TO DO CONSTRUCTION WORK IN JAPAN AND POSSESS NECESSARY CON STRUCTION LICENSES AND PERMITS REQUIRED TO PERFORM THE WORK REQUIRED UNDER THIS SOLICITATION. Construct a reinforced concrete single story facility with built-up roof. The facility includes decontamination area, ambulance shelter, emergency equipment sto rage (DSS) and awning. Decontamination area includes strip room, scrub/rinse room and dry/dress room, disposable reservoirs and HVAC. Ambulance shelter includes two wide doors on each side, and a heating system. Emergency equipment storage includes slid ing doors with lock and shelves. Mechanical work includes cooling/heating for decontamination area, heating for ambulance shelter, negative pressure ventilation system, plumbing and associated works. Electrical work includes wiring from mechanical room, lighting and fire detection/alarm system, emergency lighting and associated works. Civil work includes excavation, concrete foundation, and utility relocation. The estimated cost of the contract is between Y50,000,000 and Y100,000,000 Japanese Yen. The so licitation will be issued on or about 27 March 2006.
