- Description
- The United States Army Communications Electronics Life Cycle Management Command (C-E LCMC) plans to acquire WJ receiver spare parts, repair of failed units, technical support, and field service support for the GUARDRAIL Common Sensor Systems (GR/CS). The Government intends to solicit DRS Signal Solutions, Inc. (DRS) of Gaithersburg, Maryland on a sole source basis. The Government does not hold all proprietary rights to drawings or data, and believes that DRS is the only source that can provide the p arts and support necessary to satisfy their requirement. The subject requirement is for a five-year, Time and Materials, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract for up to $20,000,000.00 of redesign, repair and fabrication efforts for the GUARDRAI L weapon system parts/subsystems. Other sources may submit a proposal that will be considered by the Government in determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. There will be no formal Request for Proposals (RFPs), or other information regard ing these requirements.
