This item is restricted to the approved small businesses, S & L Aerospace Metals Cage Code 05722, Sterling Machine Company, Cage Code 64084, Equitable Engineering Company, Cage Code 11867 because this part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, enginee ring skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce t he required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under Standard Aviation and M issile Source Approval Request (SAMSAR). All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency.
