Description
Synopsis: This is a noncompetitive acquisition to Systems & Electronics Inc., St Louis MO, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other suppliers or services will satisfy agency requirements. This acquisition is a requirements contract for the basic year and four options. The acquisition is for the purchase of the electron tube (NSNL 5960-01-439-3730LG p/n: 871413-1 and 5985-01-495-0658LG p/n: 872106KPL. The required delivery schedule is 90 days after receipt of order. The approximate solicitation date will be 15 days after the publication of this notice. The approximate response date will be 30 days following the posting of this solicitation in the CBD. No paper copies will be mailed. The Government does not have data rights, or manufacturing knowledge to permit acquisition from other sources. All potential offerors should contact the buyer identified above for additional information and to communicate concerns, if any concerning this acquisition. If your concerns are not satisfied by the contracting officer, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process. See NOTE 22
