- Provide architect/engineer services to complete the design of a project for expansion of approximately 7,000 square feet of existing Primary Care on the third floor of Building 1, Primary Care Addition, VA Medical Center, Fayetteville, Arkansas. The design concept should include, but not necessarily be limited to: space allocations and assignment; space layout; accessibility for the disabled; structure; roof; walls and doors; suspended ceilings; floor coverings; lighting and electrical outlets; communications including telephones, computer systems, alarms, etc.; heating, ventilation and air conditioning; plumbing and fixtures; fire alarms; fire sprinklers; and uninterrupted Medical Center operation during construction. Evaluation consideration will be as follows: (1) specialized experience of the firm with similar contracts; (2) past record of performance on similar contracts; (3) geographic location of facilities of the working office; (4) specific experience and qualifications of personnel proposed for assignment to the project. Area of consideration is restricted to small-business firms within a 250-mile radius of Fayetteville, Arkansas. Firms desiring consideration should submit an SF 330, Architect-Engineer Qualifications on or before April 14, 2006. Award is subject to availability of funds. This is not a request for a proposal.
