- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The requisition solicitation number is DOC-AABB070260027. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-07. The full text of clauses referenced herein may be accessed electronically at http://www.acqnet.gov/far/. The requirements will be fulfilled using the Simplified Acquisition procedures, Part 13 of the FAR, and the test program authorized in FAR subpart 13.5, to the maximum extent possible. The Department of Commerce plans to issue a purchase order on a sole source basis to the Corporate Executive Board located at 2000 Pennsylvania Avenue, N.W., Washington, D.C. 20006 for one (1) annual (12 Month) membership to the ?Working Council for Chief Information Officers? with a renewable option for FY 2007 of one (1) additional year of membership (12 months), if the Government should choose to exercise this option. A sole source proposal is being requested pursuant to this announcement. The DOC plans to issue a purchase order for this membership by March 16, 2006.
