- Description
- The National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Bruker Instruments, Inc. for one (1) each Sample Changer Accessory Package (BS1111530 + B1611) for an existing high-resolution Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Spectometer. This accessory is needed to improve the automated analysis of NMR experiments. Bruker Instruments Inc. is the original equipment manufacturer of the NMR Spectometer and is the only known source available to provide compatibility with existing equipment as to ensure mechanical connectivity, electrical connectivity and software interfaces. In addition, this accessory will be serviced by factory trained engineers who are responsible for the original instrumentation and will be covered under the existing service agreement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, the Government will consider all quotes received within seven (7) days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete as a result of quotes received is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
