- Description
- The purpose of this contract is to provide services at two (2) fire lookouts to detect and report the presence of smoke or wildland fires within adjacent to Umatilla National Forest. This contract also requires monitoring, relaying, and documenting radio messages and observing and reporting weather conditions when requested. These lookouts are located on the North Fork John Day Ranger District. Tower Mountain Lookout is located on Road 5226 (Umatilla County) and Desolation Lookout is located on Road 1010-0300 (Grant County). This is a three (3) year contract (Option Year Contract).
