- Description
- The government will issue solicitation No. FFAH-T8-057777-N covering the acquisition of School, Shuttle, Adult Work and Inter-city Coach Buses. Buses must be built in accordance with Federal Standard 833 dated July, 2005. The bus standard will be available for viewing on July 5, 2005 at www.gsa.gov/vehiclesstandards. Paper copies of this standard will not be available. Buses offered must be 2006 model year; quantities are estimates only-no guarantee. Shipment will range between 150-350 days (ARO) depending on the type of bus. All offerors must be registered in the Central Contracting Registration System (CCR) at www.ccr.gov . All offers must be in English and U.S. Dollars. The Government intends to make an award to one low offeror for each representative chassis model identified in the Bus Federal Standard for each standard bus item solicited. Resultant contract(s) will be for one (1) base year with four (4) one year option provisions. The solicitation will issue on/about 7/05/2005 and closes on 8/16/05. The acquisition of 2006 buses will require that all interested parties submit their pricing electronically. All pricing will be placed through GSA Automotive’s secure on-line Auto bid Website. This website will allow an offeror to view the government’s minimum bus requirements, provide base and option equipment pricing, load colors, view time of shipment and offer clarifications. If you are interested in responding to this solicitation, you must obtain a username, password and URL to the Auto Bid website.
