- PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The VA National Acquisition Center will issue Request for Proposal (RFP) VA797-06-RP-0010 for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Department of Defense (DoD), and Indian Health Service (IHS) for Capsaicin Topical Cream. The estimated annual usage for Capsaicin Topical Cream is as follows: 219,040 of the 0.025% 56.6GM - 60GM and 107,136 of the 0.075% 56.6 GM - 60GM. The contract period will be for one year plus four one-year option periods. The contract items will be distributed through the VA and DoD's respective Pharmaceutical Prime Vendor(s). Offeror's must provide bar code labeling which includes at a minimum the NDC number. If the offeror is not a manufacturer, a signed agreement between the offeror and the manufacturer must be submitted with the offer and remain in effect for the duration of the contract period including the option years. OFFERS ARE NOT BEING SOLICITED AT THIS TIME. The solicitation will be available on or about the issue date of March 9, 2006. If the solicitation is issued on March 9, 2006, offers will be due by March 31, 2006 no later than 3:00 pm Central Standard Time. If a paper copy of this solicitation is desired please contact.
