- Description
- The U.S. Army Tank-automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM) is planning to procure on a 5-year multi-year contract a quantity of 670 All Terrain Lifter, Army System (ATLAS II) variable reach rough terrain forklifts. This will be a competitive sour ce selection, best value. The ATLAS II will load and unload ammunition, supplies, and equipment onto and from various modes of transport. It will be equipped with a telescopic boom that quickly lift pallets and position them on military and commercial sem i-trailers and trucks. This announcement is to provide Offerors notification of our intentions. We have established the ATLAS II webpage at http://contracting.tacom.army.mil/comveh/ATLASII/atlasII.htm. Offerors and other interested parties are required to check this webpage for updates on the ATLAS II program. Currently, the ATLAS II webpage includes the ATLAS II Executive Summary, ATLAS II Purchase Description (draft), Market Survey Questionnaire, and draft Section C - Scope of Work.
