- Description
- This is a notice of intention to issue a solicitation for Engineering Services for Software Sustainment of the ALQ-155 System Operational Flight Programs and Mission Data Tool Set. This task provides engineering services for the contractor portions of the Block Cycle of the ALQ-155 Sensor Integration Operational Flight Program (OFP), the Block Cycle of the ALQ-155 Mission Data (MD) Tool Set and the investigation and analysis of Operational Change Requests (OCR) and Software Problem Reports (SPR) submitted against the ALQ-155 Systems Software. Period of Performance shall be 18 months. The approximate solicitation issue date is 10 April 2006, with the approximate response date of 10 May 2006. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit sole source to Northrop Grumman Systems Corp, 800 Hicks Rd, Rolling Meadows IL 80008-1098 (Cage Code 26916). This requirement is intended to be awarded as an order under the existing contract F09603-03-D-0002. Authority of 6.302-1, Justification: Supplies (or Services) required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. All proposals received within 30 days after the date of publications of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
