- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is seeking competent and qualified Small Business general contractors interested in providing offers for the project summarized below. Work will consist of, but is not limited to, all construction necessary (per requirements of project design specifications and plans) for modifications to the Interim Support Building (ISB) Second Floor Restroom Interior Stair Addition, Interior Wall Modifications, ADA and Driveway Construction at the Air Traffic Control Center (ARTCC), Fort Worth Texas. This project includes all work associated with the construction of an internal stairway and enclosure, new covered walkway, concrete ramps and driveways and wooden landings. It also includes demolition of existing exterior wooden stairs, walkways and canopies on the ISB. 1. This procurement is set-aside for Small Business. 2. The North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) is 237990. 3. The estimated range of this project is between $100,000 - $200,000. 4. Contract performance time is 180 calendar days. The contractor is expected to perform 15% of the work using its own employees. Contractor is strongly encouraged to accomplish a site visit for this project. Instructions on how to arrange for a site visit will be provided in the Request for Offer. Contractors must submit their request for this package and the required documents no later than noon March 17, 2006. Contractors must provide name of company, physical mailing address, telephone number and FAX number, and complete the two attached documents: (DOCUMENT SECURITY NOTICE TO PROSPECTIVE OFFERORS AND BUSINESS DECLARATION).
