- Description
- The General Services Administration (GSA), Pubic Building Service (PBS), Northeast and Caribbean Region (Region 2), Upstate New York Service Center (2PMC-U) is seeking mechanical maintenance services for 10 U.S. Border Stations and 1 Federal Office Building located in Northern New York State. Site visits to the service locations hosted by GSA will be provided on Tuesday December 20th prior to the quotation submission deadline. The site visits shall begin at 9am in the Administration Building of the Champlain Border Station, 198 W Service Rd, Champlain, NY. All interested Service Providers are encouraged to attend. The successful Service Provider shall provide all management, supervision, supplies and labor for performing building tours, recurring operational adjustments, preventative maintenance, response to service calls and minor maintenance repairs. The scope of the services includes all building mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, and other various facility services. This procurement is a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 238220 (Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors) and the small business size standard not be exceeded is $12,000,000 in average annual receipts. The base contract performance period is one (1) year with three (3) one (1) – year option periods to be exercised at the discretion of the Government. The anticipated commencement date of the contract is March 1, 2006. Procedures for solicitation, evaluation and award of this contract shall be conducted using the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) contained in FAR Part 12 (Acquisition of Commercial Items) and FAR Part 13 (Simplified Acquisition Procedures). The solicitation shall be posted through www.fedbizopps.com and the anticipated solicitation issuance date for this procurement is Monday, December 12, 2005.
