- Description
- The Social Security Administration has a requirement for fiber cable pulling, terminating and testing services at the Social Security Administration's Main Complex in Baltimore, MD. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested at this time. A written solicitation will not be issued. The requirement, applicable terms and conditions, and representations and certifications to be completed by the offeror are contained in the RFQ which is being issued concurrently with this announcement. FAR 52.219-6 applies to this RFQ. This is a 100% small business set-aside, issued as Request for Quotation (RFQ) Number SSA-RFQ-06-1224. Quotations submitted from other than small business sources will be rejected. The small business size standard is $13.0 million. The North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 238210. The terms and conditions include the following FAR clauses and provisions, as well as any addenda to these clauses: 52.212-1; 52.212-2; 52.212-3; 52.212-4; and 52.212-5. A site visit will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, March 14, 2006. A list of the attendees to the site visit must be provided to Stephanie Gardner, via email, no later than twenty-four (24) hours before the scheduled date of the site visit. This will be the only site visit scheduled. All responses to this combined synopsis/solicitation are due no later than 2 p.m., Monday, March 20, 2006. All questions regarding this RFQ must be submitted in writing to Stephanie Gardner at the email address provided previously. All questions must be received by 10 a.m., Thursday, March 16, 2006.
