- This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a) (2) to SmithCurl, 1242 Chestnut Street, Newton, MA 02464. The sole source requirement is for installing cable TV services at the new Boston District Office. The vendor will supply the equipment and cabling for up to 12 televisions. The above named vendor is believed to be the only source for this service. SmithCurl is the only provider of cable TV services at the new Boston District Office building. No other company has the authority to install or provide cable TV services in the building. The services are being procured under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This notice of intent is NOT a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for competitive quotes. This award will be made, unless information to the contrary is received by Louis Gilden at GildenL@sec.gov no later than 5:00PM EST on Friday March 17, 2006. Information received as a result of this notice may or may not affect the award and is solely within the discretion of the SEC.
