- This is a reposting of solicitation GS05P05SVC0008 to correct the classification code. The work to be performed under terms of this contract include but is not limited to providing all labor, material, supervision, and equipment to perform the following: general office renovation, interior construction and building exterior repair, replacement and alteration work; wall partition construction, modification and alteration of floor and wall mounted telephone, signal, and power outlets to included the modification of associated conduit, surface mounted raceway, and various under floor duct systems; installation of new and the alteration of existing power panels; carpet and carpet tile installation; painting; HVAC duct work modification and repair; door, door frame, and door set hardware installation; installation of various wall coverings and draperies; communications cabling; grid ceiling and lighting installation and modification; modification of existing building fire sprinkler systems; plastering and plaster repair work; sidewalk repair / replacement, asphalt / concrete paving and other such related work as noted throughout this package, and which is specifically listed on the delivery order and job drawings. The contract shall be for a one year base and four (4) one year options. Work shall be performed in multiple federally owned buildings within the State of Michigan. The cost range for the five year period is estimated between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The Government intends on selecting three to five or more contractors, two of which will be set-aside for 8(a) business concerns for said contract. The North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) is 236220 with a size standard of $31.0 million. Evaluation factors will consist of past performance and price. The solicitation will be available on or about March 7, 2006; the actual receipt for the proposals will be stated in the solicitation. The solicitation will be available for download through the Federal Technical Data Solution (FedTeDS) website (fedteds.gov). All interested vendors must register with FedTeDS and registration requires that the following information be provided: (1) Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Marketing Partner Identification Number (MPIN), (2) DUNS Number or CAGE Code, (3) Telephone Number, and (4) E-Mail Address. Offerors will be responsible for downloading the solicitation and for monitoring FedBizOpps and FedTeDS for amendments and/or additional information. Proposals will be submitted to Chicago, IL (specific submission instructions will be stated in the solicitation). All responsible sources may submit a proposal which all be considered by the agency.
