- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov/ and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. NUWC Newport, RI intends to issue a small business set-aside, firm fixed price, solicitation for the fabrication of the following items: 3 ea. Helo Recovery System Mk 2 and 6 ea. Skirt Assembly in accordance with Government supplied drawings. Drawings will not be exhibited on our website due to restrictive distribution statements. To receive a copy, a company must be certified under the Joint Certification Program (JCP). The following Government furnished equipment will be provided: Pattern Plate Drawing #2865300; NUWC Skirt Set Up Jig. Delivery is expected six months from award. The solicitation is expected to be available to earlier than 09 March 2006. Our department no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form. Instead, they may be accessed at our web site http://www.npt.nuwc.navy.mil/contract/. We also provide electronic access in our Bid Room.
