- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst has a requirement for the production of twenty-four (24) De-Gas/De-Moist units (DDUs) to de-gas/de-moist the AN/ALQ-99 transmitter coolant. The AN/ALQ-99 is a tactical jamming system on the EA-6B aircraft. The High Power Device Test Subsystem (HPDTS) of the Consolidated Automated Support System (CASS) and the ALQ-99 Operational Test Program Set (OTPS) are used to test the AN/ALQ-99. Included in this requirement are the associated efforts of program management, logistics, integration, testing, training and the submission of technical data. Award will be based upon ?best value? evaluation criteria and granted to the offeror whose proposal is determined to be most beneficial to the Government. Two pre-production units are to be ready for Contractor testing within ninety (90) days after contract award and testing is to be completed within sixty (60) days. Government approval or disapproval of the pre-production units will be provided within sixty (60) days after completion of pre-production testing. Delivery of production units will commence thirty (30) days after release for production and will be delivered at the rate of six (6) units each month.
