- Description
- The Naval Medical Logistics Command has a requirement for optometry services at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center (WRAMC) in Washington, DC, and any branch clinics within a 60-mile radius of the Center. This will be a sole source bridge to contract N62645-02-C-4084 to extend services to the firm-fixed priced, personal services contract. Award will be made to See Clearly Vision Group on a firm-fixed price contract. Services are required for the period 31 July 2006 through 31 January 2007. See Clearly Vision Group is the only known contractor that can provide the six-month contract with health care workers who have been privileged to work at the aforementioned sites. The lead-time required for an alternate contractor to recruit and hire a replacement staff, submit Individual Professional Files for each health care worker, and for the sites to complete the privileging process does not exist prior to 31 July 2006.
