Description

Solicitation 8006-18 provides for one Single Engine Air Tanker (SEAT) to provide flight services, which are fully contractor operated and maintained, in support of the Bureau of Land Management fire suppression program at Cedar City, Utah. The airplane will be based at Cedar City Regional Airport (CDC), 7 days per week. The exclusive use period will be June 1, 2006 - August 29, 2006; 90 calendar days. The contract period will be one year from date of award with a government unilateral option for two additional years. The contract requires one turbine powered Single Engine Air Tanker with a payload of at least 700 US gallons of material weighing 9.2 pounds per gallon (6,440 pounds). The Contractor shall possess an Agricultural Aircraft Operations Certificate issued under 14 CFR Part 137. The anticipated issue date of the solicitation is March 8, 2006. The solicitation will be available at this site.
