Description

Solicitation 8006-24 seeks helicopter flight services for one year consisting of an AS-350B2, AS-350B3 or equal helicopter, which is fully contractor operated and maintained, to support the National Park Service in their fire management and search and rescue programs. The helicopter will be based at Ash Mountain Helibase, Sequoia and Kings Canyon NP, California 7 days per week. The exclusive use period will be June 1, 2006 through October 18, 2006 (140 calendar days). The contract includes options to extend the contract up to an additional four years. The Contractor shall possess a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certificate issued under 14 CFR Part 135, 133, and 137. The anticipated issue date of the solicitation is March 8, 2006. It is a requirement that the successful Contractor be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) prior to award being made. Solicitation information will only be available through the fedbizopps site and not at www.oas.gov. Small business set-aside.
