Description
This requirement is set-aside for small business concerns. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 621210. The small business size standard is $6.5 million NOTE: Government contracts will only be awarded to contractors registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database and On-line Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). You may register on-line at www.ccr.gov/vendor.cfm and at orca.bpn.gov respectively. The solicitation will be available online on our regional website at www.usbr.gov/pn/contracts/service, on or about March 24, 2006. To be included on the offeror list, interested offerors must register on our website www.usbr.gov/pn/contracts/service. The Bureau of Reclamation, Pacific Northwest Regional Office, provides acquisition/administrative support services for the Dept of Labor's Centennial Job Corps Center in Nampa, Idaho. The Center has a requirement for professional dental services and dental hygienist services for approximately 300 students enrolled at the Center. The Center provides a fully-equipped dental facility, including all supplies and equipment required for performance of the services - the Contractor provides only labor. Services include: preventive dental health education; routine dental exam for each new student; individual diagnosis and treatment plans for each new student; all necessary dental procedures; services of a dental hygienist and dental assistant; and, providing advice and recommendations regarding student dental care to Center staff. Estimated hours required: dentist, 16 hours per week; hygienist, 12 hours per week; dental assistant, 16 hours per week. The contractor must also have available, or make arrangements to have available, facilities within the local commuting area of Nampa, ID for 24 hour on-call emergency services - approximately five calls per year. Offerors (dentist and dental hygienist) must be licensed to practice in the State of Idaho. Offerors may propose on the following services: (a) dentist services, dental assistant services, and dental hygienist services; (b) dentist services and dental assistant services only; (c) dental hygienist services only. Reclamation intends to award one or more fixed-price contracts. The period of performance shall be for one year (base year) beginning approximately July 1, 2006, through June 30, 2007, with four option years to renew. These services will be purchased in accordance with FAR Part 15. Any award will be based on the best value to the Government. We will evaluate past performance, experience, and price and price related factors to determine the best value.
