Description

The Bureau of Land Management Amarillo Field Office through the BLM New Mexico State Office has an upcoming requirement for the construction of approximately 47,723 linear feet of four-wire fence along with gates and panels. Additionally, removal of approximately 65,855 linear feet of existing, old fence will be required. Contractor is expected to furnish all labor, equipment, and some supplies. Government will furnish some of the construction materials. Performance site is in Potter County, Texas near the Cliffside Gas Field located at 13301 West Brickplant Road in Amarillo, Texas 79124. Period of performance is 90 days. Anticipated award of the firm-fixed price contract is on or by May 5, 2006. The estimated value of this requirement is between $25,000 and $100,000. Evaluation criteria for award consideration, listed in descending order of importance, will include technical capability to meet the government need; price; past performance; and small business program participation and certification such as Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, 8a, small disadvantaged business, HUBZone, woman-owned, etc.. Technical capability and past performance when combined are approximately equal to cost or price. Request for Quotation No. GDQ060021 using procedures prescribed by FAR Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be posted on or by April 7, 2006. Thereafter, the full solicitation package may be accessed via link to this synopsis at www.fedbizopps.gov, or directly at http://ideas.nbc.gov. This is a total small business set-aside. NAICS is 238990 with a small business size standard of $15M. PSC is N056.
