- Y--The BIA, Great Plains Region is soliciting proposals on a full and open competitive basis from qualified vendors to contract for Rehabilitation work on an existing structure (bridge) to bring the structure up to current health and safety standards. The existing structure is located on the Crow Creek Indian Reservation, South Dakota and is 11.8 miles north of Pukwana, SD or .3 miles north of the community of Crow Creek in Buffalo Count. The work includes, but is not limited to the following: Construct temporary detour, Remove existing double tee deck units including the existing bridge railing with W-Beam Rail, Break out a portion of the abutment back walls and wing walls, Breakout the pier cap risers, Reshape berms and channel at bridge area and place Class 3 riprap and complete channel excavation, Place double tee deck units and T101 bridge railings, Place bridge end backfill and approach slabs, Roadway grading, Install permanent signing and temporary erosion control and seeding measures, Place roadway surfacing and install guardrail, Remove temporary detour and restore to natural contours.
