- I. INTRODUCTION. A. This is a synopsis for a sole source acquisition prepared in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1 as supplemented with additional information in this notice. This announcement constitutes the synopsis only and a solicitation will not be issued. B. The synopsis number is: W56HZV-06-P-L567 C. This acquisition is not a set aside for small business. The NAICS code applicable to this acquisition is 335311, Power Distribution and Specialty Manufacturing. D. Basis for award A Sole Source award will be made to Minowitz Manufacturing Company. Reference FAR 6.302-2 Unusual and compelling urgency precludes full and open competition and a delay in award of a contract would result in serious injury, financial or other, to the Government. II. GENERAL. A. The United States Army Tank and Automotive Research, Development and Engineering Center (TARDEC) in Warren, Michigan has a requirement for crossmember assemblies. B.
