- Description
- The McAlester Army Ammunition Plant intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for Steel Grit (50 pound bags), size 40. Shall be SAE J1993 HCS G40H. Hardness shall be HCS G(1)H60 HRC minimum. Particle shape shall be no more than 5% round or half ro und particles. NO SUBSTITUTIONS ALLOWED. Certificate of Conformance required. FOB destination. Estimated issue date of solicitation is March 13, 2006. The proposed contract is set-aside 100% for small business concerns. (See Numbered Notes 1). This solicit ation will be issued electronically in accordance with far 4.502 and 5.102. Therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it ON OR AFTER THE STATED ISSUE DATE by accessing this notice at this website or by acce ssing it at the Army Acquisition Business Web Site, https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the solicitation via this website in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for receipt may render quote nonresponsive and resul t in the rejection of same.
