28- Liner, Combustion, SOLICITTION NUMBER FA8104-06-R-0292, OC-ALC/PSG/PKB, TINKER AFB OK 73135-3030, for addition information contact Dennis Daniel/PSG/PKB/ (405)734-8760, Email:dennis.daniel@tinker.af.mil. Item 0001 NSN 2840-01-421-9736NZ, Liner, Combustion and Part Number: 4083055, Quantity Range: 809 through 1619 each or 1620 through 2428 each. Complete data to manufacture this part is not available. This part requires manufacturing and processing acceptance data that is separate from the blueprint and not owned by the Government. This data is required by the manufacturing source to ensure part reliability. Missing MCL manual is not available and not economically obtainable. OEM will not give or sell the missing MCL data. Form/Fit/Function: A component for the internal combustion chamber assembly on the F100-PW-229 engine. Liners prevent the combustion chamber from being damaged in the intense heat. Liners are mounted internal of the combustion chamber. Material: Nickel Alloy-PWA 1476. Dimensions: 4.5 inches long, 2 inches wide, and one half inch deep. Destination: Tinker AFB, OK. Delivery: 1619 each on or before Aug. 31, 2007. The approximate solicitation issue date will be March 22, 2006. The anticipated award date will be April 28, 2006. Written procedure will be used for this solicitation. No telephone requests. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requestors are acceptable. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with the firms(s) listed: Pratt & Whitney, East Hartford, CT. Note: While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, technical capability, and past performances detailed in the solicitation. Note: an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
