Description

The subject acquisition is to perform demolition, repair, and/or replacement of existing built-up, shingle, and metal roof systems, finishes, and associated components on Tyndall AFB, Bay County, FL. The government anticipates an indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract for Base Roofing. The performance period will be a twelve-month basic year with 4 twelve-month option years to be exercised at the governments option. This solicitation is set aside for Certified 8(a) businesses with experience relative to NAICS Code 238160. The successful offeror will be selected utilizing past performance price trade-off evaluation procedures. The government reserves the right to award a contract to other than lowest price. The contract is estimated at more than $10,000,000.00. Estimated issuance date for the solicitation is on or about 23 May 06. The government may post the solicitiation at anytime once the solictitation is ready. It is the contractor?s responsibility to monitor the website for any changes to the posting date or updates. The complete solicitation will only be available at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. No hard copies will be provided.
