- The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Portland, Oregon is soliciting offers to provide Grease Hood Cleaning Services for the Portland Veterans Affairs Medical Center, located at 3710 SW US Veterans Hospital Road, Portland, Oregon 97239, and the Portland VA Medical Center, Vancouver Campus, located at 1601 E. 4th Plain Blvd. Vancouver, Washington 98661. The services shall be in accordance with RFQ 260-06-01621. Evaluation will be based on price. It is estimated that contract award to be made by March 27, 2006, and services to begin April 1, 2006. This is a commercial supplies/services request for quotation. Contract offers will include a base year with (4) one-year option periods. Offers are due no later than 1:00pm, local time, March 22, 2006. No telephone requests for will be accepted. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments. This is a Request for Quotation and there will be no public bid opening. North American Industry Classification Code for this procurement is 562998, and the small business size standard is $6.5 million. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business. The solicitation is available as a web based document and should be downloaded by interested offerors. A one-time only site walkthrough will be provided for interested offerors on March 13, 2006. Interested offerors will initially meet in the lobby of Building 100, Portland VA Medical Center, at 8:00am Monday March 13, 2006.
