Description
The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP) is seeking proposals from business entities interested in participating in an Unrestricted solicitation for an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC). This solicitation is being issued under FAR Subpart 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The solicitation covers a single item: NSN 5340-01-425-4096, Latch Set , Mortise i/a/w McDonnell Douglas Corp. (CAGE: 88277) P/N 17PG3050-501. Solicitation SP0560-06-R-0022 is expected to be issued March 31, 2006 with an estimated closing date of April 28, 2006. The solicitation is for an estimated annual quantity of 350 EA, and will result in an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) with a 2 year base plus three (3) one-year options. Delivery shall be to CONUS stock locations, and inspection will be at destination. The delivery schedule is 180 days. The evaluation of offers will utilize Best Value procedures based on Past Performance and Price , with each assigned essentially equal importance. Prospective contractors should have Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) capability. This is a part-numbered item for which the Government does not possess complete unrestricted technical data/drawings which can be referenced in the solicitation. Copies of the solicitation package can be found on the DLA Procurement Gateway at http://progate.daps.mil/home. At the Procurement Gateway homepage, select ?Search RFP?s? from the left sidebar. Next, select the RFP you wish to download. RFP?s are in Portable Document Format (PDF), which is available free at http://www.adobe.com. A company must be registered before it can download RFP?s. If a company is not registered, it must submit a company profile. The Trade Agreements Act of 1979 does not apply because this acquisition is Unrestricted.
