- The U.S. Special Operations Command, Technology Applications Contracting Office, intends to contract with Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, 6900 Main Street, PO Box 9729, Stratford, CT 06115-9129, to procure engineering services to change the application of MH-60K Automatic Flight Control Computer to a Sikorsky P/N 70901-01800-210, Hamilton/Sundstrand P/N 812450-4 Automated Flight Control Computer. The proposed action is for engineering services for which the Government does not own specifications and drawings to permit full and open competition. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a request for a competitive quote; however, all responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered. The North American Industrial Classification Code is 336413; the business size is 1000 employees. This is a DO-A1 rated order. The estimated release date of the solicitation is 6 April 2006.
