- NASA/JSC plans to issue a Request for the following Commercial item/services: Aviator's Liquid Breathable Oxygen Type II that meets the Military standard MIL-O-27210. The period of performance for this procurement is April 1, 2006 to March 31, 2007 with an Option year that will extend the contract from April 1, 2007 to March 31, 2008. The procurement is for the delivery of 50,000 gallons of liquid breathable oxygen type II during the base year and 50,000 gallons duirng the option year. Delivery is to be made weekly on Monday before 10:00 A.M. to Ellington Field NASA Lox Facility near Hanger 276. The first delivery is to commence on Monday, April 3, 2006 The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 423860 and 100 employees, respectively. The anticipated release date of RFP NNJ06141525R is on or about March 6, 2006 with an anticipated proposal due date of on or about March 16, 2006. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. An ombudsman has been appointed. See NASA Specific Note "B". The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. These documents will reside on a World-Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application. The Internet site, or URL, for the NASA/JSC Business Opportunities page is http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/eps/bizops.cgi?gr=D&pin=73 Prospective offerors shall notify this office of their intent to submit an offer. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor the Internet site for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any).
