- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), St. Inigoes, MD intends to solicit a purchase order on a sole source basis with BASE-X, Inc., located at 6051 N. LEE HWY, FAIRFIELD, VA 24435 to provide design, procurement, integration, testing, installation and training to support 21 OCONUS and 67 CONUS sites of the JMICS Project. The items to be procured include the following: CLIN 0001: (3EACH) 61BV02TN, VESTIBULE, BLACKOUT, TN. CLIN 0002: (3EACH) 69EL001, KIT, LIGHT, W/TRANSIT CASE CLIN 0003: (3EACH) 69007, KIT WIND LINE CLIN 0004: (3 EACH) 69EL, LIGHT SINGLE STRAND. CLIN 0005: (3EACH) 60303TN-JMICS, SHELTER, BASE X CLIN 0006: (3EACH) 61BO06TNJMICS, BOOT, HMMWV. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority 41 U.S.C. 256(c) and 10 U.S.C. 2034(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source BASE-X can supply the required equipment and is the sole manufacturer and distributor of the required Shelters. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Interested parties may submit information within 14 days after synopsis is published and will be considered by this agency. A determination not to compete this procurement action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. The Government will not pay for any information received. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 314912 .
