- The MILSATCOM Joint Program Office (MJPO), HQ Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC), solicits research and development proposals for the Enhanced Satellite Polar System (EPS) Program. The scope of this program covers protected, Extremely High Frequency (EHF), Extended Data Rate (XDR) satellite communications payloads covering the polar regions to support Department of Defense (DoD) operations. The overall objective of this Program Research & Development Announcement (PRDA) effort is to define and enhance the Government?s information on low-risk, enhanced polar communications payload options available for integrating onto a host vehicle.
