Description

The National Cemetery Administration is soliciting proposals under Solicitation No. VA-786-06-RP-0049 for the following supply item: Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to manufacture and deliver, F.O.B. Destination in accordance with the specifications, drawing, terms and conditions of the contract, upright marble headstones for Georgia National Cemetery, 2025 Mount Carmel Church Lane, Canton, GA 30114, from the date of award through September 30, 2006 with three twelve-month option periods thereafter. An estimated combined total of 8,000 headstones will be acquired during the life of contract. Delivery of marble headstones will be required within 10 calendar days from the date order is issued. Contractor shall process delivery orders on a first in, first-out basis. Each headstone order on a delivery order shall be produced in numerical sequence, by shipment number. Evaluation criteria for this award will be in the following order: 1) Past Performance, 2) Specifications (SOW), 3) Timeliness of Delivery, 4) Price. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small businesses. The NAICS Code is 327991. Size standard is 500 employees. Electronic solicitations will be available for download from http://www.FedBizOpps.gov on or about March 27, 2006. Responses to the solicitation are due by 4:00 p.m., April 27, 2006. Any amendments to the solicitation will also be available at Fed Biz Opps. Offerors are advised they are responsible for obtaining amendments. See Numbered Note 1.
