Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, United States Penitentiary (USP) Lewisburg intends to make a single award for provision of coin-less vending laundry services for USP Lewisburg and adjacent camps. USP Lewisburg is located in Lewisburg, PA. The contractor will be required to provide coin-less laundry vending machines. These machines fall under Class-3-type vending and will be located in the institution common areas for use by the inmate population. The contract type is a firm-fixed price, indefinite delivery/requirements contract. The contract period shall consist of a 12-month-base period and four-12- month option periods for renewal. The estimated quantities for the base year and each option period is estimated at twenty-six washers and twenty-six dryers to be placed at various locations within the institution. The solicitation will be made available on or about March 23, 2006, and will be solely distributed through the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information regarding this solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of quotations is on or about April 7, 2006. This solicitation is unrestricted and all responsible sources must submit a quote to be considered. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit offers/quotes equally with other organizations for which they are eligible.
