- The Department of Health and Human Services, Program Support Center, Division of Acquisition Management on behalf of the Indian Health Services (IHS) is seeking a Contractor to provide assessment and diagnostic services, recommendations for therapeutic services, and related training for American Indian children with special needs residing or attending school in New Mexico and southern Colorado, on the Navajo Indian Reservation, and on the Hopi Reservation. The Contractor must have 5-10 years of demonstrated work experience in the field of diagnostic evaluation services to differently American Indian Children in the Southwest region; demonstrated experience in conducting training for professionals and American Indian families and communities as to the needs of American Indian special needs children; demonstrated experience in utilization of community advisory boards, universities that reach the service area and provide licensed professionals with clinical experience in the field of children with disabilities and experience working with American Indian Children, families and communities. It is anticipated that a Cost Plus Fixed-Fee Contract will be awarded with a base year and two 12-month option years. Solicitation AF2006221 will be available on or about 3/22/2006, with a tentative closing date of 4/24/06. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) number is 621498, and the business size standard is $8,500,000.00.
