- The U.S. Department of Energy, Southwestern Power Administration (Southwestern) is seeking quotations for Fiber Optic Cable Slicing on lines running between Denison, TX and Weleetka, OK. The proposed contract is unrestricted in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, (FAR 19.1007(b)(1)). The applicable North American Industry Classification System code for this acquisition is 237130 and the small business size standard is $31,000,000.00. The acquisition is for splicing and testing fiber optic cable at multiple locations between Denison, TX and Weleetka, OK in accordance with the Statement of Work and Map of Locations to be provided by Southwestern. The performance period is 30 days from the notice to proceed. The solicitation will be available on or about 21 March, 2006 with quotes being due on or about 11 April, 2006.
