- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this procurement R6-27-06-045 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This is a firm-fixed price procurement and will be procured using commercial item procedures and award selection will be made based on price. Price quote shall include handling and shipping cost. Requirement is for: One NITON Analizer XLT-592 with high resolution SI-PIN detector and x-ray tube, includes standard accessories: soil sampling kit, lockable, shielded waterproof carrying case, shielded belt holster, spare lithium-ion battery pack with holster, 110.220 VAC battery charger/adapter, PC interface cable, intuitive PC software, check/verification standards. Salient Physical, Functional, and Performance Characteristics include fast and accurate elemental composition of exploration samples, ores, waste rock and tailings, Rugged, environmentally sealed, Weight 3 pounds or less, Pistol shaped for ergonomic and ease of operation, Use miniature x-ray tube and power supply 940kV/50uA (maximum), High-performance Si-Pin detector, Peltier cooled, Backlit VGA touch screen LCD display, Analysis range: up to 25 standard elements in the rang of k(19) to Pu(94), Testing modes: bulk sample, Ability to read metal concentrations both in mg/kg and as percentages, Data storage: internal - 3000 readings with x-ray spectra (maximum). Standard accessories: soil sampling kit, lockable, shielded waterproof carrying case, shielded belt holster, spare lithium-ion battery pack with holster, 110.220 VAC battery charger/adapter, PC interface cable, intuitive PC software, check/verification standards. All referenced FAR clauses apply to this order and shall be reviewed at FAR Site prior to quotation at http://www.arnet.gov/ , Arnet OFPP Acquisiton Net. FAR 52.211-6, Brand Name or Equal, FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items, 52.212-2, Evaluation Commercial Items will be evaluated by price, 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items, Representations and Certifications must complete at http://orca.bpn.gov/ , 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items, and 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes and Executive orders. Offeror is required to register at CCR and ORCA sites http://www.ccr.gov and http://orca.bpn.gov/. Provide TIN (Tax Identification Number), Duns Number, E-Mail address, Contact Phone Number with RFQ. Payments cannot be made without these registrations including electronic payment registration. Quotes shall be marked with the Request for Quotation Number, Date and Time.
