- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Although this is a combined synopsis/solicitation, please refer to the hard copy solicitation available on the Gateway at http://progate.daps.dla.mil/. You must submit your proposal on the hard copy solicitation. From the Gateway homepage, left-hand sidebar, select ?Search RFPs.? Then choose the RFP you wish to download. RFPs are in portable document format (PDF). To download and view these documents you will need the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader. This software is available free at http://www.adobe.com. A paper copy of the solicitation will not be available to requestors. The solicitation issue date is 31 August 2005. Closing Date is 30 September 2005. The solicitation SP0406-05-R-3872 is issued as a request for proposal (RFP) and will result in a Fixed Price/Economic Price Adjustment Indefinite Quantity Contract for a base year and four one-year option periods for two NSNs. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAR. This procurement is unrestricted, other than full and open competition. The following information applies to both NSNs: These are commercial items. No data is available; specifications, plans, or drawings relating to the procurement described are not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. Sole source is Dupont, CAGE 18873. Alternate offers require approval by the Armed Forces Pest Management Board (AFPMB). MSDS and EPA label are required. EPA registration/labeling are required. Original Manufacturer?s commercial unit packaging is required. Repackaging is not authorized. Stock delivery to SRG Richmond VA and AQ5 Tracy CA will be FOB Destination with Inspection & Acceptance at Destination. QAP 251 applies. Delivery 30 DARO. NSN 6840-00-001-7710; unit quantity is a 6 lb net wt bag. Estimated Annual Demand (EAD) (base & option years) Stock to SRG is 58 BG; Stock to AQ5 is 17 BG. Item Description: Herbicide, Diuron-Bromacil Mixture, P/N KROVAR I DF; EPA Reg. No. 352-505. NSN 6840-00-392-7593; unit box contains four-1 gallon containers. EAD (base & option years) Stock to SRG is 46 BX; Stock to AQ5 is 74 BX. Item Description: Herbicide, Bromacil, P/N HYVAR X-L; EPA Reg. No. 352-346. Automated Best Value System (ABVS) applies; the final contract award decision may be based on a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
