- VA VISN 22 Network 22 Logistics Office, Long Beach, CA intends to award a firm-fixed price contract to provide Mobile Positron Emission Tomography (PET) Imaging System. In accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Item, FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-07. NAICS Code is 621512. Using open market procurement method. The solicitation will be available on or about March 23, 2006. This procurement is to provide Mobile Positron Emission Tomography (PET) Imaging System to the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System located at 11301 Wilshire Blvd. Los Angeles, CA 90073. Period of performance shall be from May 1, 2006 through April 30, 2007, with the Government having the option to exercise one (1) year renewal period through April 30, 2008. The Contractors may submit offers with equivalent equipment according to the requirements specified in the solicitation. The Contractor shall furnish General Electric NX/I Advance PET System with dry-view laser camera and three (3) remote viewing workstations (MIM) enabling access to imaging of the mobile unit, housed in a 40-48 foot trailer or equal with a patient incubation area. The PET system must have the following functions/capabilities: Two-way communication (query/retrieve/send) with AGFA IMPACS dicom server and GE eENTEGRA PC review stations. Minimum of 3 Remote PC Physician Review Stations (software only or hardware/software combo) that are dicom capable (i.e. MIMs software, GE eNTEGRA hardware/software). Point of contact is Imelda M.
