Please ensure your questions are emailed to TSgt Buchanan at Leroy.Buchanan@losangeles.af.mil by 07 March 2006 at 10:00 a.m. Answers to the questions will be posted by 09 March 10:00 a.m. and the proposal will be required no later than 10 March 2006 at 4:00 p.m. ************************************************************************************************************************************************************** COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION Cable Television - CATV (I) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes a solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (II) This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). Submit written quotes on RFQ reference number F2T7BC5327A100 (III) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-08. Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement Change Notice (DCN) 20051220 and Air Force Acquisition Circular (AFAC) 2005-0818. (IV) This solicitation is being issued unrestricted; the associated NAICS code is 517310. The size standard is $12,500,000. (V) This combined synopsis/solicitation is for the following: Cable Television Service (VI) Description of requirements are as follows: The Contractor shall provide subscription cable service in accordance to attached Performance Work Statement, dated 15 Feb 2006 to cover facilities in Area B of LAAFB, to include commercial programming, off air local affiliates, and locally controlled government specific channels feeds totaling 355 drops, and 10 High speed Internet access (HSIA) priced and available as an individual service or contract line item number for a Base year and one option year. (VII) Origin of contract is Los Angeles Air Force Base, California 90245. (VIII) FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items (Jan 2006), applies to this acquisition. (IX) FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items (Jan 1999), applies to this acquisition. Paragraph A of this clause is completed as follows: 1) Price and technically acceptable shall be used to evaluate quotes. (X) Offerors responding to this requirement, must ensure a completed copy of he provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certifications-Commercial Items (Mar 2005) is completed on http://orca.bpn.gov . A copy of this provision is located at http://farsite.hill.af.mil.
