- This solicitation announcement DTFACT-06-R-00010 is to notify interested parties of the FAA's intentions to procure the following Material,Engineering, and Technical Services. This requirement is to accomplish a variety of specific activities related to the FAA Technical Center's Airport Flight Safety Branch. The Branch is responsible for conducting research, test, and demonstration efforts related to airport flight safety.The Technical Center is located next to the Atlantic City International Airport, New Jersey 08405. Overall period of performance will be 6 months in length. Proposals will be required in response to the solicitation announcement. This is a Full & Open competitive requirement. The NAICS codes for this requirement are both "488190" Testing, Service, Aircraft and "541330 " Professional, Scientific, and Engineering/Technical Services. The SIR is expected to result in a single Firm Fixed Price award. Interested parties are to pay attention to Section "C" 1.1 Requirements; section of the SIR for required experience levels. All inquiries to be submitted via e-mail only. The William J. Hughes Technical Center is a secure Government Facility. All personnel must comply with FAA Security Requirements. No telephonic requests will be honored. Proposals due by 21 March 2006 2:00PM local EST.
