- This is a notice of intent to award a sole source procurement to Harkrider Distributing Company, Inc. Harkrider Distributing Company, Inc., 9617 Wallisville Rd, Houston, TX 77013 Estimated award $24,000 This is a firm fixed price type contract for the purchase and delivery of Tekflame fuel for Firefighting training for MCAS Miramar. This Notice of Intent is not a request for Expressions of Interests (EOIs), proposals or quotes. No solicitation document exists and no telephone inquiries will be accepted. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement, and should furnish detailed data concerning their capabilities to provide the services sought including pricing data and technical data sufficient enough to determine that a comparable source to the Government is available. The Government will be the sole determiner regarding an offeror's ability to meet all requirements. The Government will consider all EOIs received within five (5) days of the date of publication of this notice, as long as they are received prior to 1600 PST on the fifth day after publication. A determination by the government not to compete this preposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. EOIs sent via the US Postal Service should be mailed to MCAS Miramar Contracting Office, PO Box 452000, San Diego, CA 92145-2000 EOIs sent via Federal Express or hand carried must be delivered to MCAS Miramar Contracting Office, Bldg 6311, Mitscher Way, San Diego, CA 92145 during weekdays, excluding federal holidays, between the hours of 7:30 am and 4:00 pm. This purchase will be under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and other than full and open competition as authorized under FAR 6.302-1.
