Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on a unrestricted, firm-fixed price, indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) type contract for commercial off-the-shelf Monochrome and Color High-Speed Motion Digital Cameras, and on-site Training. Offerors shall propose on both Monochrome Camera and Color Camera from the same manufacturer. Cameras will have the capability to capture and store digital imagery in onboard memory and produce real-time data products. The digital cameras will be used to document and measure high-speed events including air-to-ground and ground-to-air test items at high rates of speed. Cameras will support the existing NTSC infrastructure and also provide digital data products. Cameras will be subjected to transport by wheeled vehicles and operation in outdoor T&E environments that include shock and vibration. The cameras shall have a minimum full resolution of 4 million active pixels, a 400 frames per second capture rate at minimum full-resolution, a recorded grayscale resolution of 12 bits per pixels, a time stamp accuracy of +/- 50 microseconds or better, an operating temperature range of 32 degrees F to 122 degrees F, the ability to phase lock to IRIG-B timing signals in order to create simultaneous exposure of multiple cameras separated by miles of distance, segmented memory for rapid multi-pass test support, automatic image download to external network hard drive at the end of imagery recording, and live NTSC video output during setting up and while recording. A minimum of 12 units will be ordered at contract award and a maximum of 65 units may be ordered over the 4-year term of the contract. Delivery will be FOB destination to NAWCWPNS, China Lake, and 90 days after the effective date of the delivery order. Detailed specifications will be provided in the solicitation.
