- Description
- The synopsis has been changed to include Option quantities. Please see below. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with The Deutsch Company, Inc. for the acquisition of twelve (12) Permaswage Hydraulic Tube Repair Kits, P/N DLTFRPSKT301. This procurement will also issue one Option for Twelve (12) Units for Fiscal Year 2007 and a second Option for Nine (9) units for Fiscal Year 2008 for the F-18 program. The kit is required to mechanically swage a Permaswage fitting on a hydraulic tube by a manually operated tool. The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own current data, drawings, or other specifications to permit full and open competition. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
